General
These terms and conditions, which may be amended from time to time, apply to all event bookings made through Anukampa Bhikkhuni Project's website, or by email. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including our privacy policy).
Any omission, or error in any information given on our website, order form, invoice, or any other document issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of making a booking, or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.
Making a booking
We will confirm all bookings by sending you an e-mail stating that your booking has been successful. If you have booked for a fee-based event you will receive a receipt for your purchase separately by email.
On receiving booking confirmation, it is your responsibility to check all the confirmed details are correct. If you consider an error has been made, this must be brought to our attention within 14 days of receipt of the confirmation otherwise the confirmed information will stand as correct.
For certain events you are required to name all attendees you have reserved a space for. If you need to change named attendees you must do so a minimum of 7 days before the start of the event. Wherever possible, we will accept name changes after this point, however, this is entirely at our discretion.
Refunds & ticket transfers
We will not refund tickets unless we have to cancel an event. We do not provide ticket transfers.
Ticket re-sales
If you or your guest/s are no longer able to attend an event you are free to re-sell your ticket provided that you make the purchaser aware that they are subject to our booking terms and conditions; inform us of the re-sale and forward us the name and email address of the new ticket holder 7 days before the start of the event in order to process the ticket re-assignment. Wherever possible, we will process ticket re-sales after this point, however, this is entirely at our discretion. All responsibility for a re-sale falls on the re-seller and the person/s purchasing the re-sold ticket.
Waiting lists
We keep waiting lists for many of our fully booked events. We do not arrange re-sales, but where someone on our waiting list and a re-seller both explicitly request for us to share their contact details with the other party in order to facilitate a ticket re-sale, at our discretion, we will do so without any liability. All responsibility for a re-sale initiated in such a way falls on the re-seller and the person/s purchasing the re-sold ticket.
Late arrivals
If you or your guest/s do not arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time for an event, you may be asked to wait for an appropriate point to join the event so as to limit disturbance to fellow attendees. This is entirely at our discretion.
If a single afternoon or evening event has sold out and you or your guests have not arrived at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time, we reserve the right to re-allocated your ticket to anyone waiting at the door (this does not apply to full day or several day events).
Conditions of entry
Our event volunteers are here to facilitate the smooth running of our events and to ensure your safety at all times. Please follow any guidance they give in relation to your and others ease and safety.
We may carry out videoing and sound recording at our events. By purchasing a ticket you consent to you and your guests being included in and to the publication of such videos and recordings without payment.
