Tehani, our previous Treasurer, has very kindly arranged a wonderful afternoon for us to celebrate the end of the first Bhikkhuni Vassa (rains’ retreat for a fully ordained nun or nuns) ever to take place in the UK in a designated bhikkhuni dwelling. We hope the timing makes it possible for friends from every hemisphere to join us online and share in the offering of a new monastic robe.

 

Tentative Schedule:

 

13:30 – Settling in and warm welcome
13:45 – Guided meditation
Refuges and precepts (optional)
Offering of a monastic robe and chanting
14:45 – Tea break
15:00 – Dhamma talk and Q&A
16:00 – Mingling in small groups
16:30 – End
