Please note that this retreat is strictly for those in the British/European time zone only (or the east coast of the US if you are willing to adopt forest monastery time and rise early!). Please do not apply from other time zones, as places are very limited. Instead, you can watch via our Facebook live-stream.

Check the retreat schedule against your time zone here.

Full time attendance – including the personal practice period – is necessary for this retreat, so you can experience the full potential of the practice.

There will be a small registration fee to cover organisational costs and contribute towards the rental of our current Bhikkhuni Residence in Oxford. If you are unable to afford this, please contact us at bookings@anukampaproject.org and we do our best to assist you, using our bursary fund.

In the early Buddhist tradition of generosity, the teachings are offered freely and monastic teachers do not receive any monetary remuneration. We gratefully welcome donations of any amount, to Anukampa Bhikkhuni Project. Your generosity helps us achieve our dual charitable aims which are:

1. To continue promoting the teachings and practices of Early Buddhism
2. To establish a permanent “Forest Monastery” for Ven Canda to reside in and train women seeking full ordination, and where lay and monastic guests can both visit and stay.

If you are a UK taxpayer, your donation is eligible for Gift Aid. All donations can be made at http://www.anukampaproject.org/donate.

Thank you very much for your support.

Please note that the registration fee is NON REFUNDABLE.
