Kairos Centre is a Christian nuns’ monastery, with an atmosphere naturally conducive to deep inner reflection and peace, and encourages visitors to hold the space as guests with quiet respect. Set in this very special, spiritual place overlooking Richmond Park, this retreat provides a wonderful opportunity to cultivate a still and happy heart, guided by self-proclaimed ‘meditation junkie’ Ajahn Brahm.

The retreat consists of silent meditation practice, Dhamma talks, guided meditations, and opportunities for questions and answers. The schedule will be relaxed and flexible and you will have use of the main hall, lounge and grounds, as well as the beautiful small chapel within the building for extra solitude.

Non-residential retreat tickets are aimed at those who have or are able to find their own accommodation in London. Non-residential guests are asked to bring their own simple packed lunches (sandwiches are good!) as the centre cannot cater for large numbers. Hot drinks served three times a day are included in the ticket price.

The retreat begins at 9.30am on Monday 16th October. On the first two days of the retreat, non-residential guests are welcome to stay until after the evening talk at around 9pm, or to quietly leave before then at their convenience. The retreat ends for everyone on Wednesday 18th October at 5.30pm.
