How to reach The Nightingale Centre by BUS

This is the most cost effective way to go to The Nightingale Centre from London.
Coach from London Victoria Coach Station to Sheffield costs between £3.30 - £15 depending on time chosen and how early it is booked.

There are 2 coach stations in Sheffield, make sure you choose the correct one;

1. Sheffield Coach Station/Sheffield Interchange, Sheffield S1 2BD
2. Meadowhall Interchange, Sheffield S9 1EP

From Sheffield Coach Station/Sheffield Interchange continue the journey with bus no. 65 to Buxton (£6). Get off at Old Chapel, Main Street, Great Hucklow. The bus stop is just 1 minutes walk from The Nightingale Centre, SK17 8RH. There are only 3 services runs on Sunday. So, the timing is important.

If you do miss the bus, you can go by taxi from Sheffield to The Nightingale Centre. Quote from online websites start from £34 - £44. Booking taxi on the spot or last minute taxi booking may add another £10 or more.

If you plan to go by taxi to/from Sheffield to The Nightingale Centre, you can also consider coach operated by Megabus from London Victoria to Meadowhall Interchange, Sheffield S9 1EP.

If you go by taxi from the Nightingale Centre to the coach station, you can depart from the centre later in the afternoon, compare to by bus no. 65 (the bus to Sheffield depart at 11:43).

By Bus from Manchester Airport
Depends on the time of your arrival, you can use bus Skyline 199 from Manchester Airport Bus Station to Buxton (this cost £8.30).
Get off at Buxton Market Place Stop D. Journey time about 1 hour 38 minutes.

Take bus no. 65 (Buxton to Sheffield), get off at bus stop Old Chapel, Main Street, Great Hucklow (cost £4.10).
The Nightingale Centre is just 1 minute away from the bus stop.

The Skyline 199 runs every hour on Sunday and more frequent in early morning and late afternoon.
But bus no 65 only runs 3x on Sunday, so you will need to watch the time carefully.

From Buxton Market Place Stop D, there are 2 buses you can take, either no 65 or 66.

1. Bus 65 (Buxton to Sheffield) departs at 08:07, 11:13, and 16:03.
   It takes about 30 mins to reach Great Hucklow. Get off at Old Chapel Great Hucklow bus stop. From there it just 1 min walk to the Nightingale Centre.

2. Bus 66 (Buxton to Chesterfield) which runs 2x on Sunday at 13:00 and 16:30 from Market Place Stop D, Buxton.
