Kairos Centre is a Christian nuns’ monastery, with an atmosphere naturally conducive to deep inner reflection and peace, and encourages visitors to hold the space as guests with quiet respect. Set in this very special, spiritual place overlooking Richmond Park, this retreat for both residential and non-residential guests provided a wonderful opportunity to cultivate a still and happy heart, guided by self-proclaimed ‘meditation junkie’ Ajahn Brahm.
The retreat consisted of silent meditation practice, Dhamma talks, guided meditations, and opportunities for questions and answers. The schedule was relaxed and flexible and guests had use of the main hall, lounge and grounds, as well as the beautiful small chapel within the building for extra solitude.
