SUMMARY:Ajahn Brahm's Kairos Three-Day Non-Residential Retreat: “How To L
 et Go Without Pushing Away”
DESCRIPTION:Kairos Centre is a Christian nuns’ monastery\, with an atmosp
here naturally conducive to deep inner reflection and peace\, and encourag
es visitors to hold the space as guests with quiet respect. Set in this ve
ry special\, spiritual place overlooking Richmond Park\, this retreat prov
ides a wonderful opportunity to cultivate a still and happy heart\, guided
by self-proclaimed 'meditation junkie' Ajahn Brahm.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe ret
reat consists of silent meditation practice\, Dhamma talks\, guided medita
tions\, Sutta classes\, using "The Word of The Buddha\," and Q&amp\;A sess
ions. The schedule will be relaxed and flexible and you will have use of t
he main hall\, lounge and grounds\, as well as the beautiful small chapel
within the building for extra solitude.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNon-residential retr
eat tickets are aimed at those who have or are able to find their own acco
mmodation in and around London. Unfortunately we are not able to recommend
any accommodation near Kairos Centre. Non-residential guests are asked to
bring their own simple packed lunches (sandwiches are good!) as the centr
e cannot cater for large numbers. Hot drinks served three times a day are
included in the ticket. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe retreat begins at 9
.00am on Monday 28th October\, 2019. On the first two days of the retreat\
, non-residential guests are welcome to stay until after the evening talk
at around 9.30pm\, or to quietly leave before then at their convenience. T
he retreat ends for everyone on Wednesday 30th October at 5.30pm.\n\n&nbsp
